Find your groove: Learn Brazilian samba music with Bay Batucada

Bay Batucada is holding an 8-week beginners workshop for anyone in Hawke's Bay interested in learning Brazilian samba music and joining our Bay Batucada family.

Try your hand at various percussion instruments:

• tamborim (a small handheld drum played with a stick)
• caixa (snare drum)
• agogô (bells)
• chocalho (shakers)

Our experienced Musical Director and current club members will guide you every step of the way, and before you know it, you will be playing with our group!

This workshop is a great way to:

• relieve some stress and have some fun
• learn something new and unique
• make new friends in a supportive community
